Happy Easter everyone. We have scaled down the gardening plans for this weekend due to the cold. Woe. Instead I think we shall be tidying the flat, visiting the pub and venturing out for a day of fun on Steve’s birthday on Monday. Here is some good stuff to keep you entertained this weekend.
The Women’s Room meets Alys Fowler (i’m an Alys fangirl!)
A delivery of spring chicks on Soule Mama
Spring bulbs in London’s Inner Temple Garden

These beautiful installations – part of a series called ‘Tree Line’ – are by Zander Olsen and were carried out in Surrey, Hampshire and Wales.
Wrapped trees… one can’t help but think of Christo. But I think these works are much more charming and natural. I would love to see them in person.
We went to Vietnam in 2010 and despite a few challenges it has got to be my favourite ‘overseas’ trip ever. Steve took this picture of a rooftop sheltered by colourful umbrellas in Hanoi.

Happy Friday! I’ve had another busy week with illustration clients, finishing up two really lovely projects (a logo and a baby portrait) and planning for the next two. I’ve not had much time available to spend in the garden, but we’ve pencilled in a few days during the Easter break to get things going. Here are some of my favourite posts this week.
