Very sweet gift for your favourite veg gardener: the Allotment Fancier’s Stationery Set from the Society of Revisionist Typographers (!). Stationery is a big love of mine and I adore traditional printing techniques like letterpress.
Printed from antique blocks, the pack includes a notebook, 30 sheets of notepaper and 8 notelets. You can purchase this set from Mabel Rose… something to think about for Father’s Day perhaps?
These floral paintings are by Nashville based artist Rebekka Seale. It appears they are part of a series, one painting for each month of 2013. I am excited to see the rest as the year goes by.
I am so happy to have discovered these paintings on Etsy as they led me to Rebekka’s lovely blog. If you like a beautifully photographed personal blog, do check it out.
These beautiful installations – part of a series called ‘Tree Line’ – are by Zander Olsen and were carried out in Surrey, Hampshire and Wales.
Wrapped trees… one can’t help but think of Christo. But I think these works are much more charming and natural. I would love to see them in person.
Any Yorkshire based readers out there? Two of my favourite artists – Emily Sutton and Angie Lewin – are exhibiting watercolours and prints at Godfrey & Watt in Harrogate until 2 December. If you love Emily’s work as much as me but your purse says ‘no’, she has designed a Christmas range for Betty’s tea rooms including a tea caddy and mug in her lovely nostalgic style.
