Now that it is November I feel I can safely mention that Christmas is on its way. I am intending to feature interesting products which garden lovers would love to receive as gifts over the next two months, starting with this quirky Grow Your Own calendar by Bold & Noble. It is a hand pulled screen print which comes in black or green, giving month by month guidance as to when to plant and harvest.
If a calendar is not your thing but you like their style, Bold & Noble also do lovely art prints like the two below (Wild Wood and Meadow). They are giving away a free print with all orders until 17 December, which is a lovely gesture. Details here.
No words required. Beautiful installation work by creative Anna Garforth.
Abigail Brown creates beautiful hand made textile birds from her studio at Cockpit Arts, Holborn in London. Pictured here are a Robin, Quail, Blue Tit, a Golden Oriole and a couple of her colourful ‘standard’ birds. She exhibits her work around the world as well as selling her creatures through her online shop.
I’m tempted to commission a black swan…
Love these rustic text illustrations by Paula Mills, a Melbourne based artist. You can purchase prints of these illustrations, as well as lots of other art pieces over at the Sweet William shop on Etsy.
Love these terrarium cards by stationer Quill & Fox, which you can purchase in their recently launched online store. They are available individually or as a set.
Also really like this City Park set for someone you correspond with regularly, as of course you would really have to send all cards to the same recipient for the desired effect. So lovely.
