Amazing styling by la casita de wendy, found via Miss Moss
Happy Friday! I have been blogging here for two months now – time flies. I have signed up to do the RHS Level 2 courses to further my horticultural knowledge a bit and will be doing this through the Royal Botanic Garden of Edinburgh’s distance learning. Just waiting on my pack to arrive in the post.
My favourite posts from the last two months, which I would love people to check out, are: a visit to a unique London floating garden, Downings Road moorings / we visited Hampton Court Flower Show / and Potters Fields Park / and the Olympic Park gardens.
Here are some wonderful and interesting things found this week:
A flower shop visit on designlovefest
A fun, beautiful country wedding photographed by Emma Case (love the piglets)
A visit to Maltby Street market in London (a far more enjoyable experience than Borough)
How to make crepe paper anemones
Ben Pentreath’s book, English Decoration, looks like a must buy. He previews it on his blog.
Lorraine & Owen Bartlett Lashley, vegetable growers, profiled on Spitalfields Life
The Drought of 2012, photographs on The Atlantic
The restoration of the Great Barn and Oast Houses at Great Dixter
